Aroeira 1 - Set in a 900 acre pine forest, Aroeira I is renowned as one of the best golf courses in continental Europe. Designed by the famed golf architect Frank Pennink, it has been in play since 1973 and has played host to the Portuguese Open in 1996 and 1997, as well as various Ladies Open Championships in its time. 18 holes. Aroeira II - Aroeira's second course is a Donald Steel-designed masterpiece with 18 holes contouring five large lakes. Inaugurated in April 2000, the course has five tees per hole, cementing its suitability for every level of player.
